Before you sell take the time to do some homework and take a critical look at your property.

If you were a buyer what would you think and make a list – what do you like about the property and what you think could be improved.

Have a spring clean – tidy the gardens, dig out those dead plants, take a trip to the dump and get rid of some of the clutter.

Spot repairs can make a big difference – doors that squeak, cupboards that don’t close can make a difference.

Get the children to clean up their rooms – it’s a good excuse to get them to do it anyway.
